Appointment
French-Language Services
Maryse Francella, OCT, is the new Director of French-Language Services. The
one-year term appointment was effective October 1.
Francella brings 27 years as an educator and administrator to this position,
including eight years in leadership roles in the French-language system. She
joined the College staff in April of this year as a program officer in the
Accreditation Unit.
“I look forward to supporting the College’s commitment to continuous improvement
of services to its francophone members,” said Francella, who is responsible
for the College’s External Relations Unit as well as French-language
services to members.
“Maryse Francella brings rich experiences and expertise from her work in the
French-language education community to this role” said Registrar Michael Salvatori,
OCT. “The senior leadership team of the College will benefit from her experience
and the insights she brings to our table.”
Francella holds an MEd from the University of Toronto and a BA in Lettres
françaises from l’Université d’Ottawa. She is qualified as a supervisory officer.
Her College registration number is 172230.
She replaces Francine Dutrisac, OCT, who is now the College’s Director of
Investigations and Hearings.
