Visit
the College web site to try the new search feature. Located in the top
left-hand corner of the menu bar, "Search" is a quick and easy
way to locate any item posted on the site.
You can search in either English or French or choose both at once, plus
you can also use the same keywords to surf the entire Internet without
leaving the search page.
A comprehensive help section provides quick tips, search examples, instructions
for refining searches and a guide to search syntax that gives instructions
on the order in which words should appear for the most effective search.
End result: a quick route to the documents you need.

The College wants
to make sure that when you earn a professional learning credit, it appears
on your Professional Learning Record as quickly as possible.
We require that approved providers forward information to the College
regarding those who successfully complete PLP-approved courses. Of course,
with more than 190,000 members of the College, there is room for error.
Therefore, the College asks that, when reporting credits, approved providers
supply not only the member's name, as it appears on your teaching certificate,
but also two of the following three identifiers:
- your College registration
number
- your date of birth
- your social insurance
number.
Since the College
has these identifiers on file, we can ensure that credits are assigned
to the right person. Providers are contractually bound to treat this information
confidentially and not to use it for any other purpose or to share it
with any other individual or agency.
The College is committed to developing processes that ensure that when
you log into your private member account on our web site, your Professional
Learning Record will be as up-to-date and accurate as possible.
