New Council member

Comment invited for Accreditation review

Anne Vinet-Roy took on the position of Council member on November 20, 2003, replacing a member from the French-language Roman Catholic board (secondary) who resigned earlier last year.
Vinet-Roy is a guidance counsellor and special education teacher at École secondaire Thériault in Timmins. She also teaches French part-time at the Université de Hearst Timmins campus and has taught French at various Ottawa-region schools.

She received her undergraduate and education degrees at the University of Ottawa in the early 1990s.
Vinet-Roy was a member of the team for the selection of exemplars for the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT), head of one of the teams that developed the OSSLT and has participated in its marking.

She has also served as a member of the advisory committee on the status of women in education for the Association des enseignantes et des enseignants franco-ontariens (AEFO) and the provincial team that wrote the new French curriculum guidelines for secondary schools.
